Helping a Client Publish a Book
Today’s success story comes to us from Author Accelerator certified book coach Janet Fox and her client, Susan Greenway! Susan’s middle grade contemporary/realistic novel Elephant Touch is being published in the fall of 2024!
Which publishing route was taken for this project?
Hybrid publishing through Spark Press.
Please share why this publishing route was chosen. Why was it the best publishing path for your client’s project?
Susan is older and has maybe one more book to write, and she didn’t want to wait for traditional publishing.
How were you involved in the writer’s process leading up to publication?
I coached her from rough to final draft!
What are you most proud of in this coaching relationship?
She is still working with me, on her next book.
Why would you recommend book coaching to get to this point in the writing journey?
It takes a lot of work to write and Susan, while a great writer, worked hard with me to make this book sing.
What are the next steps in your career?
I have another client whose book is soon to be out, and two books of my own close to contract.
